UH Modern is UHFSA’s official open-style choreography dance team. Dancing primarily out Soundbox Dance Studios, the team has built up a long and rich history filled with amazing dancers and directors. Holding auditions in late fall, UH modern practices for 5 whole months starting in December to put together their legendary Goodphil sets. The team is comprised of dancers of all experience levels and backgrounds and prides itself in being a gateway towards not just the Filipino community but also the dance community in Houston as a whole.
